PIL completes first intermodal services trial in Indonesia

The trial involved 25 containers.

Pacific International Lines (PTE) Ltd has completed the trial of its first intermodal shipment from Jakarta to Cikarang Dry Port.

According to the company, the shipment arrived at Koja Terminal, Jakarta on its North China Indonesia Service (NCI). A total of 25 containers were transported by rail to the port

PIL said this service also complements the company’s direct services into Jakarta from China (North/South) and Korea on the NCI and KCI (Korea China Indonesia Service).
