Shenzhen Port Group, BV sign strategic agreement on green shipping corridors

Shenzhen Port Group and Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore (BV) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to advance the development of green shipping corridors.

The agreement will strengthen collaboration on green shipping corridor development and related businesses by combining the two parties' resources and expertise.

They will jointly develop green shipping projects with the goal of creating scalable and replicable solutions.

Under the partnership, Bureau Veritas will provide technical support to Shenzhen Port Group and industry stakeholders on maritime regulations and international standards, helping translate evolving global requirements into practical measures.

Leveraging its global network, Bureau Veritas provides testing, inspection and certification services across the green fuel value chain, from renewable energy production to marine fuel bunkering infrastructure.

The company also brings experience from multiple green fuel projects in China.
