CULines launches Japan-Straits-Malaysia service
Route also serves Middle East, Red Sea
CULines will launch its Japan-Straits-Malaysia (JSM) service on 5 September as part of efforts to strengthen its intra-Asia network and improve connectivity between Japan and emerging markets.
The service will be operated through a slot-exchange cooperation with ONE, providing a direct connection from Japan to South Asia, the Middle East and the Red Sea.
CULines has also established a local branch in Japan to serve the market and provide localised shipping services.
The carrier has set up a dedicated Cargo Flow Team to monitor vessel connections and cargo movements during transshipment, with the aim of ensuring smoother and more reliable operations.
