Expansion Goes On

Asiatic Navigation Limited, a major tug and barge operator in S. E. Asia and their sister company Sea services (Private) Limited, have acquired and moved into permanent and better-equipped waterfront premises at Pioneer Road, Jurong. This move, which is part of an overall expansion programme, will centralise the operations of the two companies.
The company has added a new vessel ‘Asiatic Jumbo’ to their present fleet of over sixty vessels. Asiatic Jumbo is a unique 86.5m Ro-Ro Barge which is specially designed and built by their sister company, Seaservices (Pte) Ltd. The new vessel will be used to facilitate loading or delivery at difficult locations of inaccessible beaches. The 5060 dwt
‘Asiatic Jumbo’ can beach and drop its side or end ramp to load extra heavy deck cargo. It can carry containers or even liquid cargoes if required.
