RSGTI opens $170m Patenga Container Terminal in Bangladesh

Development aims to strengthen trade connectivity.

Red Sea Gateway Terminal International (RSGTI) has launched the Patenga Container Terminal in Bangladesh, marking its expansion into the country's port sector.

The terminal was developed through a $170m investment aimed at boosting port capacity, trade connectivity, and economic growth.

The launch ceremony was attended by Bangladesh Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru, Saudi Arabia Vice Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Dr. Rumaih Al-Rumaih, Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Abdullah Bin Abiah, Saudi Ministry of Investment Assistant Deputy Minister for Investment Development Eng.
