100-Ton Floating Crane Barge, Designed & Built in Singapore

Presently working in the Middle East, this floating crane is distinctive in its special designs of being capable of:
1. lifting two 50-ton concrete blocks and accurately positioning them
2. moving and positioning a piling platform, and
3. operating in extremely hot environment around (desert area).

Naturally, with such operating prowess, it involves extreme high manoeuvrability and precision control in the criteria of the design of the crane.

Winches Supplied
2 Hydraulic Single Drum Hoisting Winches rated at 15 ton, variable speed 0-20 m/min.

2 Hydraulic Single Drum Topping Winches rated at 15 ton, variable speed 0-10 m/min.
1 auxiliary Hydraulic Single Drum Hoisting Winches rated at 8 ton, variable speed 0-10 m/min.
4 Hydraulic Single Drum Mooring Winches rated at 8 ton, variable speed 0-10 m/min.

Diesel Hydraulic Power Pack

In consists of three Sundstrand Variable Displacement piston pumps and one Vickers fixed displacement pump driven by two units water-cooled G.M. 4-71 diesel engine.

Control

All the winches are - hydraulically remote controlled from two control stations. The hoisting, topping winches are controlled from the wheelhouse while the mooring winches are controlled from a central control station located at the forward deck.

Dasjell
— A concentrated pine gel with many cleaning applications. Especially effective on vinyl floors where it completely replaces seals, polishes, strippers and reduces labour costs and cleaning considerably.

Sealstrip
— An alkaline seal stripper containing ammonia which is safe to use on types of floors. For highly resistant floor seals, another product that will supplement is the D 13

Disinfectants
— These general purpose disinfectant products are available with either pine or lemon odour. Both are supplied equivalent to R.W. 3/4 and on dilution with water leave a clear non-emulsion liquid.

Sanquat
— A concentrated liquid bactericide/deodorant applicable in many areas where micro-organic growth and related odours must be controlled.
