Accuro - the One-Handed Gas Measurement System
The demands on the measurement of hazardous substances are constantly increasing. More stringent limits and the increasing number of listed harmful substances require practical and sophisticated methods of analysis.
The new one-handed gas measurement system accuro from Dragerwerk AG, Lubeck, Germany, is the convincing answer to the demand for universal measurement methods which can be used on-site.
The system consists of the gas detector pump accuro, the electrically operated pump accuro 2000 and the Drager short-term tubes.
Bellows Pump Principle accuro functions according to the proven bellows pump principle. It precisely matches the requirements of Drager-Tubes and can be easily operated with one hand. The bellows pump principle features optimum volume and flow specifications when used together and leads to accurate, reproducible results.
One-Hand Operation Measurements are often made under extreme conditions, e.g. on ladders, cat walks, in shafts or at difficult-to-reach locations. Respiratory protection equipment must often be worn. The one-handed pump accuro allows the user to have one hand free during measurement.
Thanks to its new ergonomic shape the pump is even easier to hold, also when a high number of strokes must be made. A new kind of scissors mechanism in the bellows ensures that the pumping process operates regularly.
Stroke Counter and Stroke-End Indicator are Integrated
The automatic stroke counter avoids faulty measurements due to the wrong number of strokes. It moves to the next number only when the bellows are pressed together sufficiently. In this way it can also guarantee the correct working volume. A clear, optical pressure operated display indicates that the necessary amount of air to be tested has been drawn through the tube. This avoids faulty measurements due to incomplete strokes.
accuro 2000 If higher stroke numbers for a measurement are required, accuro is simply slid into the automatic electrically operated pump device accuro 2000. Programme the required number of strokes and accuro 2000 is ready for use. Operation functions are clearly displayed. After setting the start button, accuro 2000 automatically carries out the pre-selected number of pump strokes.
