Construction Starts on First Modern Office Building in Vung Tau City, Vietnam

 

A groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of construction for a 10-storey building was held in Vung Tau City, a centre for Vietnam's oil and gas activities on 26 July 1995.

To be named ' Petro Vietnam Towers' this is the first modern office building in the city. It is expected to be completed in early 1997.

It is undertaken by Petro Tower Limited, a joint venture company comprising FELS, the Vietnam Oil & Gas Corporation (PetroVietnam) and the National Oil Services Company of Vietnam, with shareholding of 70%, 22% and 8% respectively.

Total investment capital for the project is US $23 million.
