Dalian Shipbuilding delivers 85,000 DWT multipurpose pulp carrier

The vessel achieves carbon emissions 50% below the required baseline.

Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. has delivered a 85,000 deadweight tonnage multipurpose pulp carrier Neptune.

According to a statement, this is the fifth vessel in the series built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry for CITIC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd.

The vessel features high pulp transport specialisation, broad cargo adaptability, excellent economy, superior environmental friendliness, and advanced intelligent capabilities. It meets the Energy Efficiency Design Index Phase III requirements whilst achieving carbon emissions 50% below baseline.

It can accommodate diverse cargoes including high-speed trains, wind power equipment, new energy vehicles, large machinery, and oversized steel pipe pile structures.
