Evergreen Marine orders 16 feeder ships from CSSC Offshore & Marine

Delivery of the vessels is scheduled to take place between 2028 and 2030.

CSSC Offshore & Marine Engineering (Group) Company has announced that its subsidiary, CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding, has signed a contract with EVERGREEN MARINE (ASIA) PTE. LTD. to build 16 feeder container vessels (3,000 TEU each) worth $736m to $896m.

The contract, effective from 4 February 2026, will run until all vessels are delivered, scheduled between 2028 and 2030.

Payments will be made in installments in US dollars based on construction progress. Disputes will be resolved via the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

CSSC Offshore & Marine said the contract will positively impact cash flow and operating results but will not materially affect its core business or create reliance on the counterparty.
