Felzmarine Takes Delivery of “Joshua” From Marine Diesel
Designed by Sasa-ship Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based marine consultancy company, the 40m Fast Crew Boat was named JOSHUA and was built to the highest standard in accordance to American Bureau of Shipping classification with symbols and notations +A1 +AMS HSC Utility Craft. JOSHUA is a very versatile vessel, suitable for a number of roles and can be arranged to meet an endless range of special requirements!
Marine Diesel Services Pte Ltd (MDS) had delivered a 40m Fast Crew Boat to its owner FELZMarine Pte Ltd (FELZ) at Raffles Marina in Tuas, Singapore on 14th October 2017. That date marked a very significant milestone for both builder MDS as it was the first delivery of a new vessel since its diversification to Shipbuilding & Repairing business and the first 40m Fast Crew Boat owned by FELZ!
The power and propulsion system comprise of two Cummins Auxiliary and three Cummins Main Engines coupled with Twin Disc Marine Gearboxes. JOSHUA maintains a service speed of 28 knots and recorded a top speed of 30 knots during sea trial. The vessel was designed with seating for 80 personnel and an unobstructed cargo deck with approximately 135 square metre - a perfect vessel for offshore transfer and transportation of supplies.
