MOL Group to participate in PIER71TM Smart Port Challenge 2025

This will be held in Singapore for ten weeks.

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. has announced that it will be taking part in the maritime innovation accelerator programme PIER71TM  Smart Port Challenge 2025.

In a statement, the company said its Singapore sub-headquarters, MOL (Asia Oceania) Pte. Ltd. (MOLAO), will participate for the first time as an innovation partner. It will work to address various issues facing the shipping industry and the incoming cohort of startups, in collaboration with MOL PLUS Co., Ltd., which will participate for the fifth consecutive year.

The 10-week programme will be held in Singapore in September.

As an innovation partner, MOLAO will work with PIER71 to offer expertise and business development support to startups, and create opportunities for proof of concept trials. It will also promote innovation and collaboration by leveraging its network in the Asia-Oceania region.

Meanwhile, investment partner MOL PLUS will work in collaboration with MOLAO to invest in startups and support their business development.
