New Portamarine Level Locator
Wylam Hill Ltd has launched the NEW PORTAMARINE, the latest and most advanced in their range of liquid level indicators for measuring marine and offshore fire suppression gases in place.
The new unit is designed for use with minimal training by fire safety officers, ships' engineers and technical servicing staff and includes a digital display, touch button controls including self-calibration and an all dry/no gel sensor, with a magnetic applicator, suitable for all cylinder types.
Advances in ultrasonic technology incorporated in the NEW PORTAMARINE enable the equipment to be used on the widest range of liquid gases and cylinder types of any previously available level indicator. The unit can be used on Halon replacements, including Fm200TM as well as Halon and Co2 in all commonly used cylinder types from small Fm200 or vehicle mounted Halon cylinders to the largest offshore or marine CO2 cylinders. With 50% more power output and an "SPA" boost setting, the new Portamarine is also able to operate on poor condition cylinders and even on the largest bulk filling tanks and low pressure marine CO2 systems.
Accurate to + /- 1.5mm (or 1/8"), the NEW PORTAMARINE will detect gas system loss in place and replaces time consuming and labour-intensive weighing of cylinders in all gaseous fire suppression systems. Ship time alongside can be reduced by 72 hours in the process.
A failsafe easy-use Multi-Bank Extension Kit is available for reaching otherwise inaccessible shipboard banked CO2 cylinders and measurements can be made on both vertically and horizontally mounted systems.
