NZ Plans its Largest Trade Show in ASEAN
Sixty New Zealand companies will participate in a New Zealand Industries Trade Exhibition to be held at the Shangri-La Hotel from August 1 to 6 in Singapore.
Exhibitors were equally divided between those with established trading links with Singapore and other South East Asian countries and those entering the market for the first time.
The exhibits represented four main categories, divided evenly into consumer products, foodstuffs, light engineering items and building materials.
The exhibition, the largest national trade show held in the Asean region by New Zealand, will be attended by New Zealand trade commissioners from Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand.
A wide range of fire-fighting and industrial safety equipment will be displayed at the New Zealand Industries Exhibition.
The exhibitor, M.S. Martin & Co. Ltd., manufactures hose reels and fittings to meet British, Australian and local specifications.
The reels are designed to take up to 120 feet of %-inch rubber hose, or 100 feet of 1-inch hose. With an inlet pressure of 30 psi, the latter throws a jet of water 20 feet at a rate of six gallons per minute.
The Martin reel is available with a wide range of necessary fittings for various purposes. It is usually supplied without the hose. The company also offers a full range of thermal and smoke detector fire-alarm panels, solid-state security systems and burglar alarms, fire brigade hose and fittings, sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers, industrial hose, and special industrial safety clothing.
