OMS partners with Royal IHC on sustainable marine vessels

Advanced vessels enhance network resilience and subsea capabilities.

OMS Group has commenced construction of CS Genesis and CS Triumph, two next-generation cable-laying vessels in its G (GREAT) Class fleet, following a twin keel-laying ceremony at Pacific Shipbuilding JSC in Hai Phong, Vietnam.

Developed in partnership with Royal IHC, the vessels highlight the company’s effort to strengthen intercontinental connectivity and infrastructure growth through advanced, sustainable, and energy-efficient marine assets.

The new builds position OMS Group to operate more independently, deliver complex subsea installations, strengthen network resilience for hyperscalers, carriers and governments, and accelerate sustainability through enhanced energy efficiency and propulsion technologies.
