It also aims to accelerate digitalisation to enhance information exchange.

Singapore’s Ministry of Transport and the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the Singapore-ROK Green and Digital Shipping Corridor (GDSC).

Under the MoU, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries will implement initiatives to support the sector’s green transition.

These include developing bunkering infrastructure, aligning technical standards, exchanging technical knowledge, conducting trials, and providing joint training.

The MoU also aims to accelerate digitalisation to enhance information exchange and operational efficiency.
