Strategic Marine completes delivery of two new crew transfer vessels

The ships have a capacity of 24 technicians.

Strategic Marine has delivered two new StratCat 27 Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) to Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA).

In a statement, Strategic Marine said the 27-metre aluminium catamarans are sister ships to Acti’Vent and Esti’Vent. They were built at the shipbuilder’s Singapore shipyard and have the capacity of 24 technicians.

These will be used for crew transfer in challenging marine environments, with potential deployment in key markets such as France, the UK, Poland, Taiwan, Korea and Japan amongst others.

“These vessels are the second pair of CTVs which we have delivered in the past 2 years,” said Chan Eng Yew, CEO of Strategic Marine. “The StratCat 27 continues to prove its value across Europe and Asia, and we look forward to seeing these vessels in action.”
