Yangzijiang Maritime signs four-vessel bulker sale contracts
The vessels are due for delivery from April 2027 to May 2028.
Yangzijiang Maritime Development Ltd. said it has signed contracts to sell four newbuild bulk carriers of about 40,000 deadweight tonnes each.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery between April 2027 and May 2028.
The company also said the first of four medium-range tankers covered by sale contracts worth a combined $230m (US$180m), announced in November 2025, was delivered on July 30, 2026.
The second tanker is scheduled for delivery in November 2026, whilst the remaining two are expected to be delivered in 2027.
The transactions bring the total number of newbuild vessels covered by sale contracts over the past nine months to 12, with an aggregate gross value of $ 640m (US$500m).
The company said the vessel sales are expected to affect its financial results in FY2026, FY2027, and FY2028, depending on completion of the transactions, delivery schedules, and the timing of accounting recognition.
