Regional Container Lines and Lloyd’s Register collab for fleet optimisation

This aims to reduce fuel consumption and boost sustainability efforts.

Regional Container Lines (RCL) has partnered with Lloyd’s Register OneOcean (LR OneOcean) to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of its fleet operations.

Under the agreement, RCL will access LR OneOcean’s voyage optimisation platform, for real-time planning, weather routing, and intelligent speed management. This will help the former reduce fuel consumption, cut carbon emissions, and improve cargo delivery reliability.

“Our voyage optimisation platform provides the insights and intelligence needed to make strategic, real-time decisions that improve fuel efficiency, enhance voyage planning, and optimise overall fleet performance,” said Jeff Mattick, customer success director, LR OneOcean.
