PIL launches new office in Uruguay
This marks its expansion in South America.
Singapore-based Pacific International Lines (PTE) Ltd (PIL) has opened its new office in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The company said this marks another milestone as it works on growing its presence across Latin America.
PIL said its ES1 service connects Uruguay to Asia, importing electronics, white goods, and machinery, while exporting frozen meat, timber, and dairy produce, amongst other items.
“This comes just five months after our new 14,000 TEU LNG-powered vessel first called at Montecon, Uruguay, as we continue to push boundaries,” PIL said.
