New Strategic Marine vessel to support offshore wind operations in Taiwan

It delivered a 27-metre crew transfer vessel to a Taiwanese company. 

Strategic Marine has delivered a 27-metre Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) to a Taiwanese company for offshore wind operations in Taiwan, marking the first StratCat 27 delivery to a local operator, according to a press release.

The vessel is based on Strategic Marine’s StratCat 27 platform, developed in collaboration with BMT, and is designed to support offshore wind construction, operations, and maintenance activities in Taiwanese waters.

The delivery represents the eighth StratCat 27-class vessel deployed in the region, extending the company’s installed fleet supporting offshore wind activities in Taiwan.

According to Strategic Marine, the CTV features an optimised hull form designed to enhance seakeeping, manoeuvrability, and operational performance under local offshore conditions.
