K LINE to consolidate logistics unit in Thailand

The company eyes completion by 2026.

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (K Line) has announced plans to consolidate its logistics operations in Thailand, transferring this unit from K Line (Thailand) Ltd. (KTL) to its specialised logistics arm, K Line Logistics (Thailand) Ltd. (KLL TH).

The company said this move aims “to provide customers with a wider variety of high-quality logistics services and strengthen our contract logistics capabilities by transferring KTL’s logistics business, which has strengths in domestic logistics in Thailand, to KLL TH, which has strengths in international logistics.”

KTL covers the overall management of the car carrier business in Southeast Asia and the comprehensive shipping agency business in Thailand. Meanwhile, KLL TH is  the international logistics business centred on air and ocean forwarding

K Line said it aims to complete the transfer by 1 April 2026.
