PIL names Wan Chee Foong as new deputy CEO
He will succeed Lars Kastrup as CEO in April 2027.
Pacific International Lines has appointed Wan Chee Foong as its new deputy CEO, effective 5 October, ahead of his succession as CEO next year.
Wan will succeed CEO Lars Kastrup in April 2027.
He currently serves as managing director of corporate strategy at Temasek, having previously spent nine years there from 2003 to 2012 working in transportation and logistics and supporting the establishment of SeaTown Holdings.
Wan also held senior operating roles at PSA International, including regional CEO for the Middle East and South Asia and head of group business and commercial development.
He also served as CEO of PSA BDP, PSA’s global supply chain solutions business, and was a member of PSA International’s Senior Management Council from 2014 to 2025.
Wan is an independent director of Bahri, the national shipping company of Saudi Arabia, and sits on the board of Singapore’s National Council of Social Service.
During the six-month handover period, Wan will work alongside Kastrup and the senior leadership team, progressively assuming responsibility for the group’s commercial, operational, and strategic priorities.
