Strategic Marine achieves technical acceptance for 40m passenger ferries for Bermuda
The ferries have a capacity of 550 passengers.
Strategic Marine has achieved technical acceptance for a pair of two 40m 550-Passenger Aluminium Catamaran Ferries being for the Government of Bermuda.
In a statement, Strategic Marine said the ferries were designed by One2Three Naval Architects and have a capacity for 550 passengers.
“The new catamaran ferry will reduce carbon emissions by about 25% when compared to the existing ferries on a passenger mile basis and offers significant savings on operational costs,” the company said.
