Piriou delivered 23M Trawler Anthemis to shipowner cabaret Jérôme

PIRIOU lately delivered a new vessel for artisanal fishing named ANTHEMIS—a 22.75m trawler—to shipowner CABARET Jérôme. Dedicated to bottom and midwater trawling in the Channel and the Irish Sea, this new unit will shortly be christened in her home port in St Brieuc, North Brittany.

This delivery is the result of a collaboration between shipowner CABARET Jérôme, PIRIOU, naval architect PANTOCARENE, and shipbroker Atlantic Marine Services.

Vincent FAUJOUR, PIRIOU President declares:
"ANTHEMIS is the fruit of the meeting between Mr and Mrs Cabaret and PIRIOU. We established a trusting ongoing relationship, supported by shipbroker Atlantique Pantocarène - Didier Marchand. I think we built the vessel shipowner J. Cabaret was expecting for its development. At PIRIOU, we have been building trawlers for over 50 years and artisanal fishing is the origin of our DNA. Abandoning this activity would be like cutting our roots."

Jérôme CABARET adds:
"An outstanding work was made by Jean Lijour from the design office, and by Cédric Cordroch and his team driven by Tony. ANTHEMIS is a fine work tool with high-quality finishes offering a combination of comfort, performance, and safety. I am totally satisfied with her as she perfectly answers my request. I thank Vincent FAUJOUR, Paul-Henri Celton, and the whole team from PIRIOU!"

Involved in shipbuilding, repair, naval engineering, and services since 1965, PIRIOU specializes in producing vessels up to 120m with high added value through a combination of high-performance engineering and a global network of industrial sites in Europe, Africa, and Asia. With over 470 ships built and delivered worldwide, PIRIOU provides bespoke solutions as well as a complete range of standardized or customized vessels that satisfy the requirements of international shipowners, whether they be private or public, civilian or military.
