The Safe Scandinavia Operating as a Tender Support Vessel

Safe Scandinavia is a Tender Support Vessel (TSV) capable of operating worldwide in harsh conditions.

Safe Scandinavia was upgraded in 2003 and completed a life extension refurbishment in 2014. In 2015/2016, the Safe Scandinavia was converted to a Tender Support Vessel.

The complex conversion included the installation of mud handling, mixing and storage facilities and a high pressure pumping system. The specialised pumping equipment and tanks were installed on the TSV deck, with additional pre-mixed mud stored below deck. Workshops, laydown areas and work stations can be altered according to client requirements.

The TSV Safe Scandinavia is supporting operations at Oseberg Øst on the NCS for Statoil. Prosafe is responsible for the provision of mud services to the Oseberg Øst installation together with all marine operations of the TSV.

Platform Plug & Abandon and Decommissioning Services
The vessel can offer bed space, offices, power, utilities, high and low pressure mud, mud mixing and storage, coiled tubing, wireline, cement and hydrocarbon treatment services.
